Welcome to the Successful Lace Knitting Designer Notes series on my blog! When I was working on Successful Lace Knitting, I interviewed each designer who had submitted a project to the book to find out about their design inspiration and to ask them to share their tips for knitting lace.
Unfortunately for me, this information did not make it into the book. There just wasn’t enough room. Fortunately for you, I’m now going to share all of these tips with you here and I hope it will make you want to read the whole book! And if you can’t wait, pick up the book now, then follow along with your favorite designers as you learn more about their work.
Between the other blog posts from my travels, I’ll be posting a new interview every three days for the rest of July and August. Here’s what’s coming up over the next weeks, so if you haven’t signed up for my RSS feed and you’re not following me on Facebook or Twitter, pick one and jump on board now so you won’t miss out on one of these fascinating interviews. (You don’t have to join anything to follow along with me on any of those links.)

Don’t forget me!
I can’t wait to see!
I have the book and have been going through it time and time again picking out what I want to knit. Have a question about one of the patterns. Where should I ask it.
I am working o. The Handspun Medallion Stole. When I got to row 15 I discovered an error. Did some research and found that row 15 & 17 both had errors. Row 15 is correct after they fixed it. But 17 still has s problem with the 1st 9 beg sts and the 8 end sts. After they made the correction.
Thanks so much for writing. I’ve passed your comment on to my tech editor with Martingale and will work on this with her. I will let you know if we have any questions about what you’ve found.
