Stories in Stitches Book 3 | Around the World: World Wars I & II

Learn about my family history and my ancestor’s lives in Eastern Europe before the wars. My great grandparents were Lithuanians and Russian Jews. My family would not exist today if my great grandparents had not escaped pogroms, and later the Holocaust, in Lithuania and Belarus, and come to America. They didn’t come halfway around the world for their great grandchildren to live in a world as bad as the one they left behind. I want to stop hate crimes from spreading in the USA and I want to keep hateful, racist people out of our government and speak out against them at every chance I get.

Stories in Stitches Book 5 | Civil War: Speaking Out

Hear the stories of Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth, two brave African American women who made a difference and stood for freedom, justice, and truth during a time when neither women nor people of color were supposed to speak out. We must all band together at this time, and those of us who are white must do extra work to stand up against the bigotry and hate that is becoming virulent in the country now.

[/column] [/columns] Why a Donation?
Did you know that there have been more than 300 cases of hate crimes against minorities in the US since Election Day?

“They’ve been everywhere — in schools, in places of business like Walmart, on the street,” Southern Poverty Law Center President Richard Cohen said Monday.

Donald Trump’s hate speech during his campaign, the fact that the KKK is celebrating his winning with a parade, and his selection of a white supremacist for one of his key advisors, has made a lot of people in America think it is OK to perpetrate hate crimes. IT IS NOT.

Will you help me speak out against the hate speech and hate crimes that have been amplified since then?
