My Man Wants a Hat Knitting Pattern

$4.99

This hat combines several fun techniques. It begins with two-color, or “corrugated,” ribbing, followed by one of my favorite Lithuanian colorwork motifs. Above the color pattern is a section of stripes, then solid Stockinette stitch with decreases for the crown. It’s all topped off with a fun pompom. The slouchy style is comfortable and casual.

Description

I don’t know about you, but my husband rarely wants anything that I knit. After two sweaters languished in the bureau drawer and a pair of gloves was worn to shreds in less than a month, I wasn’t too keen on knitting for him any more. But when he saw the sample of this hat and tried it on, he immediately said, “I want this hat.” Alas, the sample was promised to the yarn company, but now I get to knit a second hat from this pattern and I know it’ll be something that will be worn a lot during our cold winters in Northern Vermont.

Adult, fits heads up to 22” (56cm) in circumference. Ross Farms works hard to make you amazing wool products from their flock of Heritage and Rare Sheep. Learn more about this wonderful Pennsylvania farm on their website. Yarns are for sale in their Etsy store and at various sheep and wool festivals throughout the year.
