As I am getting ready for my trip to Europe, Lithuania is filling my mind again. I’m looking at my photos, reading history books, fondling yarn and knitted pieces, looking for a flat to rent, and dreaming of the streets of Vilnius. Although I will also be spending time in England, Scotland, and Geneva, and probably making side trips to Amsterdam, Kosovo, and who knows where else, Lithuania is where my heart is when it comes to geography. I don’t know why but I just love it. It’s far from being a perfect place (sigh), but so is America (sigh)!
I’m sorry I’m not blogging much these days, but I’ve started working full time on my day job again, and along with writing a book (and procrastinating about writing a book), knitting, planning for my trip, teaching workshops, and so forth, well, there’s not much time for blogging. So please do feel free to follow me on facebook and Twitter where I post short notes every day.
You do not have to join either of those services to read my posts on the web pages that I’ve linked to. You can even subscribe to an RSS feed of my tweets!
Well, I could write more but I have to get back to work.
