Can you believe it’s already January 22nd? There’s just a week of this month left. I have my knitting cut out for me.
I’ve officially entered the new Ravelry Challenge for finishing my UFOs in 2018. Have you seen that feature yet? It’s cool. You can put deadlines on your WIPs or projects in your queue, and they show up on your challenge page so you can share your progress with your friends. You get to your challenge page by clicking the upper-right tab on your Notebook page.
I’m going to finish 12 WIPs this year, but I only have put two in my Challenge so far because I’m not ready to figure out deadlines for finishing the others yet. I’m going to work on the two intarsia sweaters I started in winter 2015 or 2016 (I can’t remember for sure), and once those are done, I’ll choose my next project or two to add to my challenge page.

As of today, I have the back, fronts, and one sleeve done up to the yoke, and the second sleeve is about a third of the way done. I really want to get to the yoke today or tomorrow. It goes fast because it’s with bulky yarn on size 10 US (6mm) needles. Although the colorwork slows down the stockinette stitch knitting somewhat, it still goes pretty quickly.
